Diversity and the legal sector - Winning new business

Tuesday, 10 March, 2009 - 00:00
London

Overview

Nine out of ten government tenders require evidence that suppliers are investing in diversity. The Diversity Works for London breakfast briefing for the legal sector on 10th March 2009, hosted by Eversheds, provided legal firms with a better understanding of how they can position themselves more effectively when competing for tenders with the public sector. It also provided attendees with the opportunity to discuss critical diversity issues, find good practice solutions and to network with other senior managers. David Gray, the Chief Executive of Eversheds, provided the welcome address and the keynote speakers included: Caroline Wilson, Head of Diversity and Corporate Responsibility for Eversheds LLP, Andrew Quincey, Director, Group Procurement at Transport for London (TfL) and David Knight, Associate Partner at KPMG.
